After what seems like 6 months of constant rainy weather and overcast days here in Texas we finally had some sunshine! The temperature even rose to a perfect 85F. Makes me fired up for summer! We really couldn’t have picked a better day for Cheryl and BJ’s engagement session.
Cheryl and BJ were such a joy to work with! We actually did their engagement session yesterday at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, and I had planned on blogging their session on Tuesday but I was so excited about their images I just HAD to finish editing them and share them today! So suuuuurrrprise!!
Cheryl and BJ are such a sweet couple. They just got engaged over Christmas, and I loved learning about their story. They actually met online through online dating, and they had their first date at PF Chang’s (excellent choice guys, love me some Chinese food!). BJ really surprised everyone when he pulled out a ring during a white elephant gift exchange and got down on one knee in front of everyone to ask Cheryl to marry him!!
At the end our time together we spent another 15 minutes talking and learning more about each other. Besides BJ’s stomach growling we could’ve stayed and talked even longer. They’re just those kind of people you can talk to about anything with and not get bored!
They were so fun to photograph, but now I’m gonna shut up so you can see for yourself. Let me know what you think in the comments below!! 🙂
