I’m so excited to share Alex’s bridal session today. Sometimes bridal sessions are so stinking hard to keep secret, and I often forget to blog them because they can’t be shared until after the wedding. Every bride loves getting to try on their wedding dress to see how it fits their body and make sure it fits before the wedding day and rightfully so. You want to make sure it’s perfect! And bridal sessions are absolutely perfect for that!
We did Alex’s bridal session at Briscoe Manor just outside of Houston, Texas. This was the first time shooting out at Briscoe Manor, and this venue is simply beautiful. They host multiple weddings here a year, and I’m so thankful they were able to fit us in their schedule during the week. The ladies at Briscoe were so kind and helpful throughout the day during our session.
Alex brought her momma and sister, Emily along with her to the session, and I’m so glad she did. They helped her get into her dress and helped fluff her dress and veil. Emily was such a great veil fluffer! 😉 I just love that first image above!!
We started our session around 1pm in the afternoon, and the sun was still high in the sky. I had to be pretty strategic on where I placed Alex and how I posed her. We took a few pictures in their back courtyard area with their iconic-larger-than-life frame, and then we made our way inside to the chapel then back out to their second courtyard/reception area.
Here are a few of my favorites from her session!
